Why talking about the human condition matters?
Recently I have been posting short videos about Stress, happiness and procrastination amongst other problems that many people deal with every day.
Many have asked me what the connection between those topics and my profession as a mortgage broker is.
How do I expect to encourage new business when the topic of my videos is in their view, unrelated?
Perhaps that’s a fair question if the only measurement of your value as a professional is based on what you do and how you do it.
However, I believe that what is more important and more powerful is letting people understand why you do what you do.
I was taught that giving of yourself, helping others to achieve their dreams, seeing then improve is much more satisfying than the financial reward we can earn.
That is why I love helping my clients.
The what and how are only outcomes of the why.
The why is what builds trust and belief.
So, I will continue to inform and inspire my clients, my friends, my business partners and strangers as well, to invest in their future best selves.
